High School Students

Graduating high school seniors can start their ROTC journey as cadets in the Talon Battalion at Keiser University Flagship Campus. Army ROTC expands on the skills and instructions taught at JROTC units nationwide.

Enrollment in Army ROTC is only open to Keiser University Flagship students.  High school students interested in joining ROTC must apply to Keiser University Flagship Campus. After applying and being admitted into Keiser University Flagship Campus, students can register for the ROTC Basic Course.

Students interested in enrolling in Army ROTC must meet the following requirements:

    Army ROTC offers scholarships and stipends for incoming cadets.
  • Develop leadership traits
    Learn leadership and management strategies needed to motivate others.
  • Diverse training opportunities
    Master basic soldier skills and attend advanced U.S. Army training camps.
  • Serve a greater cause
    Cadets who contract into Army ROTC have the honor of serving their country.
  • Guaranteed job
    Cadets can become commissioned Army Officers after graduation.

4 Year National Scholarship

High school students interested in contracting with the military can apply for an ROTC National Scholarship. This scholarship is designed for incoming freshmen. Students can apply for the scholarship after completing their junior year of high school.

ROTC National Scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding applicants. Candidates are selected for merit-based scholarships based on their scholastic achievement an extra-curricular accomplishments.
